Once again we took part in this neat little full moon skitour challenge in the Appenzellerland. One couldn’t see much of that moon – heavy snowfall. Of course i won in my category – not only because of the fact i was the only one in that category… My brother naturally was really quick, my father as well and so we had a nice ride down from the Ebenalp back down to Wasserauen. Very nice tour from Zuoz, first up to Plaun d’Arpschellas, lots of traces, but then over to Piz Murtiröl: first lines, great pow-powder, good view and nice weather. Quick descent, back up to Piz Alpiglia, weather gets worse and last but certainly not least an adventorous descent through the woods, oh yeah… <ontinue reading ‘Piz Murtiröl – Piz Alpiglia’<

Well, 1st snowboard tour for Dave and although he dishonoured everything an alpinist holds dear (hehe) he did very good. Quick morning tour up to Patraflon from Schwarzsee, broomsticks as ski poles, sun on the top, lots of snow drifts, icy ground and blown away snow. Some ate bread on the peak, some ate pasta and down again it went over Recardets, not with lots of snow and a bit heavy. Very enjoyable company, thanks for coming along! Continue reading ‘Patraflon’
