Ascent with some little detours (the Hohgant massive indeed is hilly in a miniature format), up to Trogenhorn, sunrise with best weather ever, warm and sweaty, the peaks of the Berner Oberland, not lots of snow, climbed down from Trogenhorn, up Hohgant West, descent through the “Chrinde”: again not lots of snow, patches of ice, at places very steep and good powder in the end. It took quite a bit of a fight to get up but in the end it’s always well worth it: On top of the Breithorn at the Simplonpass, looking over to all the 4000-mountains of Wallis: Weissmies, Lagginhorn, Weisshorn, Dent Blanche, … the summits of the Berner Oberland, and not to overlook: the Bietschhorn, what a peak!
